ICD, Patparganj:
CWC is a pioneer public sector organization in the field of ICD and has 35 CFS/ICD all over the country. ICD Patparganj was built up as an ICD at Gazipur, Delhi, 110096. ICD Patparganj was initiated in the year of 1984 as a Container Freight Station (CFS) with the reputable Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC). It has embellished itself from handling the work of export Import cargo on LCL (Less Container Load ) as an extension of the ICD at Tughlakabad and transportation of containers through ICD:TKD to the movement of Full Container Load (FCL) and export reefer containers from the port to Delhi Gateway by road (as permission granted in 1994). In 1995, this station was promoted to a full-fledged ICD and was affirmed as an independent port under the Customs Act, 1962.By a Public Notice, CWC was consented to transport all export containers by road directly to the Gateway Ports. The movement of EXIM containers via rail is through ICD LONI and ICD TKD. Traffic and revenue has improved with time.
